The Shine Movement is a volunteer-produced celebration of the human spirit that happens pop-up style in Los Angeles, New York, London, and now in Orange County.

For less than the cost of a movie, drink & popcorn, you can enjoy a night of one-of-a-kind entertainment including storytelling from TED-caliber speakers, music, audience-based philanthropy (a live “pay it forward” award), and a mix-and-mingle with healthy appetizers.

Our simple mission is to create a local, alcohol-free social experience that will leave you feeling inspired to do more, give more, and be more. We believe inspiration is the key to bettering our world. Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best: “Our chief desire is for someone to inspire us to be what we know we can be.”

The evening of inspiring entertainment will be anchored by 3 speakers who will wow you with their stories of transformation:

Mia Tavonatti, an award-winning muralist, will share her unique “Power of Words Project” story and how creativity can transform individuals and communities.

Mark Romero, a sound healing expert, will share how music can shift energy and remove negative influences and make a positive difference in our lives.

Gerald C. Rivers, an actor and voice talent who has dedicated his life to serving others, will raise our consciousness through his gift for interpretive storytelling.
